VADODARA, GUJARAT | 06th JUNE 2026 | Marking World Environment Day with a meaningful commitment to environmental sustainability, HCG Cancer Centre Vadodara organized a large-scale plantation drive that brought together healthcare professionals, educators, and the future custodians of the environment—school children.
Doctors, surgeons, nurses, and staff members from HCG Cancer Centre Vadodara joined hands with students and teachers from Global Discovery School, IIRA International School, and school children from Nandesari in collaboration with Deepak Foundation to plant 500+ saplings across multiple schools.
The initiative was driven by a simple yet powerful belief: while today’s generation plants the trees, it is the younger generation that will nurture, protect, and benefit them. By involving school children directly in the activity, HCG aimed to instill environmental responsibility at an early age and inspire lifelong stewardship of nature.
As healthcare professionals dedicated to protecting lives, the HCG team highlighted the close relationship between a healthy environment and a healthy population.
