BENGALURU | 24th SEPTEMBER 2026 | Amazon India announced the winners of the second edition of its Best in Tech Awards (BITA) at an event in Delhi. The awards recognise the year’s best consumer technology across smartphones, TVs, laptops, tablets and wearables, along with audio, cameras and home appliances. Winners were decided in three stages: marketplace insights identified the highest-rated products in each category, a jury evaluated them to build a shortlist and customers cast the deciding vote.
“In a short time, The Best in Tech Awards have become the benchmark for consumer technology in India. Every winner earned their place twice – first as one of the highest-rated products on Amazon.in and then by customer votes. In just its second edition, BITA has brought together the biggest names in technology to celebrate products customers love, and heading into the Amazon Great Indian Festival, it gives customers a trusted shortlist of the best tech to buy this year.” said Zeba Khan, Director – Consumer Electronics, Amazon India.
This year’s winners range from flagship launches to everyday favourites. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra was named Smartphone of the Year, the Galaxy Z Fold8 took Best Foldable Smartphone and the Xiaomi 17 Series won Best Camera Smartphone. In TVs, the Sony BRAVIA 2M2 was named Most Trusted TV of the Year, while homegrown brand Lumio won Most Trending TV of the Year for its Vision 9. The Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses (Gen 2) were named Break-through Product of the Year.

Ahead of the evaluation, Amazon.in conducted the Best in Tech Survey, gathering responses from more than 40,000 customers to understand the factors they consider when purchasing consumer electronics across smartphones, laptops, tablets, smart TVs and smart appliances. These insights provided a deeper understanding of evolving customer preferences across technology categories.
As part of the shortlisting process, products were evaluated based on verified customer reviews, ratings and purchase behaviour on Amazon.in. A 10-member jury of technology experts then assessed the shortlisted products on real-world performance, innovation and value. Customer voting across key categories followed, bringing the voice of customers into the final selection of winners.
