Seven-day Satyugi Bhagwat Savitri Gyan Yagna Organized for the First Time at Bhadaj, Ahmedabad, on the Epic Poem “Savitri” Composed by Maharishi Sri Aurobindo for the Purpose of World Welfare

GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 17 JULY 2025: The first-ever ‘Satyugi Bhagwat Savitri Gyan Yagna’ composed by Maharishi Sri Aurobindo for the purpose of world welfare has been organized at Patidar Hall near Bhadaj Science City Circle, Ahmedabad. This entire program has been organized from July 19 to July 25 from 8.00 to 10.00 pm.

In this program, the former Vice Chancellor of South Gujarat University, Surat and the international spokesperson of Savitri, Param Pujya Dr. Ashwinbhai Kapadia, will conduct the 468th week of the Achaman from the Vyaspith.

Who has so far conducted 467 Gyan Yajnas in Gujarati, English and Hindi languages in 18 countries around the world.

This entire program has been organized by “Savitri Mission” with the support of Rakesh Kumar Natubhai Patel and Yoginiben Rakesh Kumar Patel.

Talking about the introduction of Maharishi Sri Aurobindo, Sri Aurobindo was born on 15th August 1872 in Calcutta. At the age of 7, he was sent to England. Where he studied at St. Paul’s School in London and later got a Senior Classical Scholarship and entered King’s College, Cambridge. English and French literature, poetry and European history were his favorite subjects. His poetic output in English is extensive and includes romantic poems, sonnets, long narrative poems, verse plays and two epics including “Savitri”.He studied the contemporary political situation in depth and immersed himself in the rich cultural heritage of India. During this time, he mastered Sanskrit and studied regional languages like Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi and Hindi and later he also learned Tamil.

As per the orders of Lord Krishna, Sri Aurobindo tried to transform human nature in all aspects and make the life of the entire human race divine by incorporating the truths of spiritual experiences of all the yoga paths of ancient times. He devoted the rest of his life to this work. The vast scientific aspect of his and revered Mother’s yoga practice is revealed symbolically in the epic “Savitri”.
