This approach fosters inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms, preparing students for the challenges of a dynamic world and positioning educators as leaders in modern, impactful education.”

Developing critical thinking skills in English classrooms is essential for fostering analytical, evaluative, and creative abilities in learners. By engaging students in activities that require them to analyze texts, evaluate arguments, and create original content, educators can cultivate a deeper understanding of language and its uses. Encouraging discussions, debates, and problem-solving tasks helps students to think independently and articulate their thoughts clearly. This approach not only enhances their language skills but also prepares them for real-world challenges by promoting a mindset of inquiry and innovation.

Ms. Palani added, “English has profoundly transformed education across states. It serves as a medium for acquiring knowledge and as a gateway to professional opportunities, enabling students to connect with and learn from diverse people, cultures, and ideas worldwide. As a global leader in English language teaching, OUP aims to equip teachers with new-age tools and techniques. This professional development workshop for language teachers in Rajkot will help in enhancing their skills and continue making a positive impact.”
