Ahmedabad 26 October 2024 — The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline celebrated its annual Diwali Big Bash with grandeur, transforming the evening into a glamorous festive extravaganza. Over 300 members and their families were transported into the vibrant worlds of Goa and Las Vegas, thanks to the captivating theme and dazzling décor crafted by member Shyamal Divetia.
The event was one of the most vibrant gatherings of the year, with a full-house presence of members. Past President Rtn. Rekha Kabra skillfully emceed the evening, ensuring a lively and well-coordinated flow of activities. Guests enjoyed a dynamic DJ, keeping the dance floor alive, while they relished games and entertainment in a vibrant setting. With a sumptuous dinner and lively music, the party continued late into the night, leaving everyone with cherished memories of this festive celebration.
A highlight of the evening was the club’s contribution to Rotary International’s polio eradication efforts. The club collected and donated $1,000 towards the cause, presenting the cheque to District Governor Rtn. Mohan Parashar during the event. This gesture underscores the club’s commitment to global health initiatives and the eradication of polio.
Esteemed dignitaries, including District Governor Rtn. Mohan Parashar and Assistant Governor Jignesh Patel, graced the occasion, adding to the spirit of Rotary fellowship. Under the guidance of Project Chair Rtn. Pradeep Motwani, along with Club President Rtn. Saurabh Khandelwal, Secretary Rtn. Ashish Pandey, and Treasurer Rtn. Uttkarsh Jhunjhunuwala, the Diwali Big Bash brought together the Skyline Family in a memorable celebration of unity and joy.
