GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD 13 APRIL 2025: SciKnowTech Education Foundation hosted its much-awaited annual science and math carnival, SciKnowFest, at Gulmohar Greens Golf and Country Club. Mentored by scientist and educationist Dr. Megha Bhatt and her passionate team, this one-of-a-kind event brought science and mathematics to life with over 300 hands-on projects and models, presented by students from Grade 2 to 10.
Children from Ahmedabad and across India—including Mumbai, Bangalore, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Surat, and Vapi—as well as international locations like Muscat, Dubai, and Qatar participated, turning the carnival into a truly diverse and inspiring platform for young minds.
Founded in 2015 with a strong commitment to experiential STEAM learning, SciKnowTech Education Foundation has consistently worked to instill a scientific temperament in students. Through its flagship year-long program, the Foundation offers children a deeper understanding of science and math, enhanced by field trips, DIY kits, storytelling, expert talks, experiments, model making, and creative craftwork.
SciKnowFest 2025 was a culmination and celebration of this approach. Students displayed thought-provoking and innovative projects, many inspired by themes such as Chandrayaan and space exploration, heritage management, environmental sustainability, and real-world scientific research like chemical vs. organic colours, natural dyes, and even the Big Bang theory. Intricate LEGO-based models further added charm and depth to the showcase.
Adding grandeur to the event were esteemed guests, including Padma Shri Shri Tushar Shukla, a renowned Gujarati poet; Dhvanit Thaker, former RJ and eminent orator & communicator; and Ms. Devanshi Joshi, editor of Jamawat Media, all of whom engaged meaningfully with the students. A special moment of pride came when Mr. Abhijat Joshi, celebrated writer of *3 Idiots* and other acclaimed films, sent his blessings to the children and lauded SciKnowTech Education Foundation’s approach, which he noted perfectly aligns with the pedagogy he believes in and promotes.
In addition to the exhibition, several interactive and high-energy activities were hosted by the students themselves. All on-stage events—including grade-wise quiz competitions, the STEM song, one skit, and the ever-popular Egg-Drop Challenge—were entirely carried out by SciKnowTech Education Foundation’s own children, highlighting not only their knowledge but also their confidence, communication, and teamwork skills.
Winners of the quizzes and activities were awarded trophies and certificates, further boosting their morale and celebrating their hard work.
The carnival welcomed over 3,000 visitors, including students from public and municipal schools, as well as children from less privileged backgrounds, ensuring that access to innovation and experiential learning was truly inclusive.
SciKnowFest 2025 was made possible by the generous support of leading corporates, foundations, and individual patrons who believe in nurturing scientific minds. Their contribution plays a vital role in making such grand initiatives accessible to all children, regardless of background.
“An experience like this stays with you.”
With this spirit, SciKnowTech Education Foundation has now opened registrations for its 2025–26 year-long program, promising another exciting year of exploration, creativity, and innovation through hands-on science and math learning.
