GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 02nd DECEMBER 2025 — A statewide youth awareness campaign has been launched across Gujarat to address mental health, drugmisuse, suicide prevention, social media addiction, and digital discipline among students. The Higher Education Commissioner’s Office has appointed Shri Vidit Sharma as the Youth Ambassador (Gujarat) to lead this mission.
Vision of Youth Ambassador Shri Vidit Sharma
1.No communication gap between students and faculty, ensuring students feel safe to speak and seek help.
2.Campus Volunteer System where students can contact trained volunteers via email/WhatsApp, who willescalate concerns to relevant departments.
3.Drug-Free Campus Movement, making every student a “Youth Volunteer for a Drug-Free Campus.”
4.Immediate reporting of outsiders involved in harmful activities to local police through HoDs/Principals.Focus Areas Mental Health Awareness, Anti-Drug Movement, Suicide Prevention, Social Media& Digital Discipline,Motivation, Leadership & Youth Responsibility.
College Visits Begin 26/11/2025
Shri Vidit Sharma will conduct sessions across universities to promote discipline, confidence &youthempowerment.

Institutions must ensure maximum participation, administrative support, proper venue setup, smoothcoordination, and official promotion.

Most recently, on 26th and 27th November, Vidit completed five major Youth Mental Health & Awareness programs across leading institutions: LD Engineering College, Gujarat University, KK Shastri College, Gujarat Government Polytechnic (Ahmedabad), and Gujarat College (three campuses).
