Sarees were the largest festive wear category on Meesho during this period, and lehenga cholis also saw strong demand. The fastest growth came from coordinated outfits, as shoppers picked up ready-to-wear kurti sets with dupatta and bottomwear, along with clothing sets.

Dandiya stick orders grew about 125% YoY, with one pair ordered every 83 seconds. LED and glow-in-the-dark sticks were popular picks. Puja article orders grew about 70%, as shoppers stocked up on kalash, puja thalis, diyas, akhand jyoti lamps, mata ki chunri, Durga idols, torans and havan samagri.

Bangle orders grew more than five-fold, bindi orders more than doubled, and earrings and studs grew by a third. Shoppers also bought ghungroo anklets, kids’ chaniya cholis and Durga costumes, waterproof kajal and setting spray, and foot pain relief sprays and gel cushions.
