Priya Sharma, a working professional whose life changes completely after she falls victim to a digital arrest scam. What begins as a frightening phone call soon turns into a personal struggle filled with fear, guilt and uncertainty. Her journey highlights how scammers use fear and intimidation to manipulate people, making even the most careful individuals vulnerable to such fraud. On the other side is Vicky, the mastermind behind the scam network. His character shows how scammers use fake identities, technology and manipulation to cheat innocent people, often leaving their victims struggling to recover from the emotional and financial loss.
Resonating with the story and highlighting the importance of digital awareness, Pratik Sehajpal shared, “Our parents are educated, but they may not be as familiar with technology as we are. I sometimes worry that my mother might receive a suspicious link and click on it, or get a video call that scares her. I think it is very important to spread awareness among our families and senior citizens so that they understand what is happening around them and do not fall into such traps.”
Adding another important layer to the story is Raj Thakur, a suspended officer who joins the fight against the scam network. While Priya represents the people who fall victim to such crimes, Raj represents the courage to stand up against them, even when the odds are against him. His journey brings hope and determination to a story filled with deception and danger. Together, Priya, Vicky and Raj bring different sides of digital arrest scams into focus, showing how one person’s greed can destroy lives while the courage of others can help uncover the truth. Through these characters, Scam 2024 – The Digital Arrest Story goes beyond a crime thriller to highlight the importance of staying alert, spreading awareness and protecting our loved ones from online fraud.
