GUJARAT | 10th JULY 2026 | Amazon India’s biggest-ever Prime Day concluded with encouraging participation from Prime members across Gujarat. The 10th edition of Prime Day saw more Prime member engagement from Bharat than previous Prime Day events with more than 70% of the new sign-ups coming from tier 2 and 3 cities and towns.
During the three-day event, customers across Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara and other cities shopped across categories including smartphones, consumer electronics, fashion & beauty, home & kitchen, everyday essentials, grocery, large appliances and furniture. Prime members benefited from 10th anniversary deals, exclusive Prime Day offers, instant bank discounts with the SBI debit and credit cards, Axis Bank credits cards, rewards and unlimited 5% cashback with the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card, No Cost EMI options, along with fast and reliable delivery.

Customers in Gujarat increasingly upgraded to premium products while also stocking up on everyday essentials, reflecting the growing adoption of Prime across the state. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy M47 and OnePlus N6 were among the top sellers in tier 2 and tier 3 towns as well. Home Entertainment witnessed 1.45X YoY growth driven by TCL, LG and Samsung. Camera orders increased 1.8X YoY, led by brands such as DJI, Canon and CP Plus. Home, Kitchen & Outdoors grew by 1.15X YoY, while premium speakers drove over 1.65X YoY growth and premium headphones grew by over 1.15X YoY with JBL, boAt and Sony emerging as popular choices. Beauty orders grew 1.3X YoY, with brands such as L’Oreal Paris leading this growth. Premiumization trends were also evident in the automotive segment, where 7 out of 10 buyers of Harley-Davidson, KTM, and Triumph motorcycles came from tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Demand across categories highlights a growing consumer preference for premium technology, home appliances, lifestyle products, and content-creation tools.
Amazon is deeply committed to enabling business growth for sellers in Gujarat, with over 2,50,000 sellers and 80,000 Local Shops from the State actively selling on Amazon.in. This momentum is supported by Amazon’s robust operations backbone in the state, comprising 02 Fulfilment Centres, 02 Sortation Centre, along with 90 delivery stations.
