Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline Contributes 1,008 Prasad Meal Plates

AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 18th JULY 2026 | A remarkable milestone of faith, compassion, and selfless service was celebrated as Shri Balaji Seva Samiti Trust successfully completed four glorious years of its monthly Maha Bhandara.

On the auspicious occasion of Amavasya, a grand Bhandara was organised beneath Vakil Saheb Bridge, opposite ISKCON Platinum Society, Bopal, Ahmedabad, where approximately 3,500 to 4,000 devotees and underprivileged people were served sanctified meals (Prasad).

Marking this special occasion, Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline played a significant role by sponsoring 1,008 Prasad meal plates. This contribution was made possible through the generous support of Skyline members and fellow Rotarians, reaffirming the club’s continued commitment to humanitarian service and community welfare.

For the past four years, under the dedicated leadership of Shri Varun Ji Goyal, the Monthly Maha Bhandara has been organised on every Amavasya with deep devotion and prayers to Shri Mehandipur Balaji and Shri Salasar Balaji. Every month, thousands of devotees, daily wage workers, and people in need receive freshly prepared Prasad, making this initiative a symbol of faith, compassion, and social responsibility.

The organisers expressed heartfelt gratitude to Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, its members, donors, volunteers, and all supporting organisations for their invaluable contribution in making this noble initiative a continued success.

Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline has consistently been at the forefront of community service through initiatives in healthcare, education, women empowerment, youth development, environmental conservation, and humanitarian projects. Its association with Shri Balaji Seva Samiti Trust reflects a shared commitment to serving society and uplifting lives through meaningful action.

The programme concluded with prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of society, along with a renewed commitment to continue this sacred tradition of service for many years to come.
